Mount Vic Flicks - Mount Victoria

Built as a Public Hall in 1934, the revamped cinema is a window into the golden age of Australian country-picture theatre culture. This family-run cinema, Mount Vic Flicks, shows regular mainstream classic films and arthouse flicks, as well as National Theatre Live—filmed live theatre performances—and the magnificent Met Operas.

Scenic World - Katoomba

There is so much excitement to experience at Scenic World all year round. Established in 1945, this family-owned business boasts commanding views of the Three Sisters and over the canyons, and that’s just the start of the attractions.
Hop on the Scenic Railway—the world’s steepest passenger train—travelling from the escarpment top down 310m into the forest on a 52-degree rail incline. At the base, a web of hiking trails explore the Jamison Valley rainforest. Take the train’s return trip, or catch the 45m Scenic Cableway back to the top.
And for the more adventurous visitors sign up for the Scenic Skyway, which glides between clifftops 270 metres above the valley floor.

Megalong Creek Estate

Indulge in some of the region’s best single-vineyard wines from Megalong Creek Estate, while taking in the astounding views of the lush Megalong Valley, Blue Mountains. ​
This family-run boutique vineyard was established in 2002 and they are are the only Blue Mountains wines that are made entirely from grapes grown in the Megalong Valley. The wine is made in Mudgee by a highly-regarded, third-generation wine maker—Jacob Stein of Robert Steins Wines. Their wines include Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, a Prosecco-style sparkling, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.

Bilpin Cider Co. - Bilpin

This is a lovely drive with a rewarding destination, Bilpin Cider Co. Located within the World-Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, and surrounded by majestic rivers and six national parks, the fertile soil, mountain elevation and mild climate have all contributed to Bilpin’s reputation as one of Australia’s premium orchard-growing regions. You can taste the wide range of ciders on offer—including their classics like the cloudy and original apple cider—to more unusual styles like High n’ Dry and Blush (made using only Pink Lady apples). They also have an excellent selection of non-alcoholic ciders and ginger beers, and you simply MUST try their Apple Pie.
